Call for IS
Plenary Lectures will be complemented by Invited Session organized by recognised experts in targeted research areas and related to all the important topics of the conference.
Participants interested in organizing an Invited Session at MARINE 2027 are requested to submit an abstract of their proposal in PDF Format by using the template available here:
The abstract should briefly illustrate the contents and objectives of the Invited Session, as well as the name of the organizers. The list of prospective speakers is not required.
We particularly encourage proposals for Invited Session in new and developing areas that broaden the fields of application.
Each IS may have one or more organizers. For organizational reasons, a Corresponding MS Organizer (who will submit
the IS proposal and be in contact with the Conference Secretariat) must be appointed.
Each IS is expected to consist of at least one 2-hour session, consisting of six 20-minute presentation slots. The final
number of sessions allocated to each IS will depend on the number of accepted contributions and will be determined in
multiples of six presentation slots. Within each IS, one Keynote Lecture may be scheduled for every two full sessions
(i.e., 12 presentation slots). A Keynote presentation typically occupies two slots, leaving 10 slots available for
regular presentations. Therefore, at least 10 confirmed regular presentations are required to include a Keynote lecture.
Please also note that only one contribution is allowed per registered speaker.
Invited Session proposals, should be submitted through the conference website no later than November, 16, 2026.
